According to the Ohio Department of Health, approximately 1,048,918 adults in Ohio, or 12.6% of the adult population, have diagnosed diabetes.     The CDC has issued a food safety alert regarding a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Oranienburg infections. The CDC advises people who have unlabeled whole red, white, or yellow onions at home to throw them away and not eat them.
