Introduce the Project KIND theme “Project KIND gives us the knowledge to help us reach our “Keys to Success.” Let students know that they will be learning about Respect, Manners, Smart Choices, Cooperation and Communication.

2. Describe and identify behaviors that show respect. Identifies each letter of Respect banner with a brief explanation to define each word.

Students recognize beginning letters.

Students will sort the Respect Slogan pictures and hold them up to match the corresponding respect words as they are introduced.

3. Identify actions and phrases that show respect. Lead the students in singing the “Respect Song” and teaching corresponding hand gestures.
