Young Adult

Young adults, and wheelchair male, using social media

Young adults experience key life changes whether they are going to college, moving out on their own, or changing their role at home. It is exciting to take on new responsibilities and make your own choices. EFNEP offers young adults, ages 18-26, with or without children, the opportunity to build healthy habits by providing free classes. EFNEP helps young adults make some of these choices with healthy tips, tools, and resources in a series of nine classes that focus on meal planning, cooking skills, basic nutrition, eating on a budget, food security and the importance of daily physical activity.  Lessons are hands on and interactive, giving participants a real-world experience as they learn.
