Ohio Saves is joining with county commissions as part of America Saves Week by promoting automatic savings to help people reach their savings goals.

Ohio Saves Week is coordinated by Ohio State University Extension, the Consumer Federation of America, and the America Savings Education Council. The Week is an annual opportunity for organizations to promote good savings behavior and a chance for individuals to assess their own saving status.

Ohio Saves Giveaway During America Saves Week 2019
As a way to incentivize participation in America Saves Week, any person who signs the Ohio Saves pledge during America Saves Week will be entered to win one of eight $100 giveaways! These funds would be a great way to jumpstart an emergency savings, add to retirement savings, or more!
How to enter: It is very simple - During America Saves Week, participants should take the Ohio Saves pledge in one of the following ways:
- Sign the Ohio Saves Pledge online during America Saves Week!
- Text to save during America Saves Week!
Eight winners will be chosen at random after ASW ends.
Who can win: Anyone over the age of 14 in Ohio can enter to win as long as they either sign the Ohio Saves Pledge or text to save with Ohio Saves.It is important to note that if your participants take the pledge at ohiosaves.org, they must enter a valid email address in order to win.
When to enter: Ohioans can take the Ohio Saves pledge at any time during America Saves Week February 25 – March 2!
Why: In order to encourage Ohioans to participate in America Saves Week and jumpstart their new savings focused behaviors, Ohio Saves feels this financial incentive is a great bonus!
