Amanda Woods Talks FCS Financial Wellness to Students, US State Representative Steve Stivers
Family and Consumer Sciences Program Specialist Amanda Woods, Healthy Finances, gave a financial wellness presentation on April 6 to undergraduate Ohio State students and U.S. Representative Steve Stivers, 15th district of Ohio. Her talk focused on financial wellness services offered by FCS Educators across the state.
The event, sponsored by STEP (Second-Year Transformational Experience Program), provided roundtable discussions regarding student financial literacy. Representative Stivers just listened to what students had to say. STEP was designed to "focus on student success and development and allow students the opportunity to engage in activities that cater to their individual interests and needs."
