    Take a ‘Walk with a Doc’ Marion, OH – Ohio State University Extension is encouraging residents to take a step toward better health with Walk with a Doc, a walking program that brings together doctors and patients every first Thursday of the month from noon to 1:00pm. Physicians from OhioHealth and Center Street Community Health Center will kick off the event with a brief talk on a current health topic and then lead the group on a walk.

    Monroe County has set their dates for 2018 for the Successful Co-Parenting Class and they are as follows: February 1st April 5th June 14th August 2nd October 4th December 6th All classes will be held at the OSU Extension office located at 101 N. Main St, Room 17, Woodsfield, OH 43793 from 10 am to Noon.

    Smart Start with Money is an educational curriculum, developed by OSU Extension Educators designed to teach children ages 3-5 about the beginning concepts of money.  It is intended to be used as a train-the-trainer material for early childhood education and care providers.  It explores such questions as "What is money?" and "What do we do with it?"    Session participants will learn how to use Smart Start lessons to provide training for both center-based and in home providers.    Topics include: 1. Money Awareness 2. Spending Money

    The “FCS Family” will share a Family Meal together in Columbus on Friday, November 30, at 11:30 am in preparation for the “Dining In” Family Meal promotion event on Dec. 3.   More details to come…   (PS- if you can’t make it to Columbus, please feel free to have regional FCS Family gatherings!)
