    Healthy Living Resources is a telecast presented by the Family and Consumer Sciences program specialists that will focus on health, wellness, and the impact that stress has on our lives. Whether it be financial struggle, or chronic disease management, stress can creep up as a result of many of the day to day events that we face in our lives. Join us monthly as we interview Family and Consumer Sciences educators and other specialists who will discuss how we can address and hopefully prevent this from negatively impacting our overall health and wellness.

    This doctor-led group is a fun and safe place to go for a walk, learn about health, and meet new friends. The event is FREE and all are welcome!

    Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle.  What better way to start your weekend than on your feet making strides to help your heart and improving your general health to live longer!  While you walk at your own pace, you'll have the opportunity to have questions answered by local physicians. You don't need any special gear and there are no special rules.  Just grab a pair of comfortable shoes and walk alone, with friends, a partner or family or with a group.  It's a personal preference.

    Freezing fruits, vegetables, meats, herbs, and jams.

    Join us at the Bryn Du Mansion on July 23 for a food preservation workshop on canning and freezing summer foods. Learn how to safely preserve food at home using basic canning or freezing methods. OSU Extension will also provide dial gauge canner testing (bring lid only).
